Joel 'Chef Ish' Williams, the founder of 'Whats On The Menu Ish?'
His African and Caribbean heritage allowed him to combine his love for seafood and his passion for cooking.
Ish, became a pescatarian at the age of 22, experimenting with different ways to cook using his own signature techniques. Positive feedback from family and friends led him to catering.
2019 is the year that Ish started his home catering business in Leyton, East London selling cooked to order seafood meals to the local community by Snapchat and Instagram.
What's On The Menu Ish? was born to bring a twist on the generic Caribbean food scene, mainly focusing on Island staples. They aim to give the customer a unique experience when trying seafood.
The menu consists of dishes ranging from Soft-shell Crab Burger, to the more hearty Triple Cheese Mac, finger licking Saltfish Fritters and authentic BBQ drum Jerk Fish to name a few. All dishes have Caribbean inspired flavours, combined with Chef Ish's inner city London up bringing which creates a food experience like no other.
